Accessibility Statement

Ancient City Associates wants every visitor to be able to read, navigate, and get help from ancientcitygroup.com, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.

The standard we follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines from the World Wide Web Consortium explain how to make web content usable for people with disabilities.

What we do

  • Test every page of the site, at desktop and phone sizes, with automated accessibility checks, and fix what they find.
  • Make sure the whole site works by keyboard alone, including a “Skip to main content” link and visible focus outlines.
  • Keep text contrast readable, describe images for screen readers, and label every form field and button.
  • Give every background video a pause button, and show a still image instead of motion when your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Re-test after significant changes to the site.

Known limitations

Our appointment calendar on the Book a call page is provided by a third-party scheduling service. We don't control its code, and it has minor issues with heading structure for screen-reader users. If the calendar gives you any trouble, call us at (904) 650-6444 and we'll book your appointment over the phone.
