Motion sites

Motion sites. Websites people actually scroll.

Scroll-driven stories, video, and cinematic reveals for restaurants, brands, listings, and studios. Every example on this page is a live site we built. Watch it scroll, then open the real thing.

What it is

The page moves because you do.

Scroll is the timeline

Sections pin, headlines assemble, photos pan and cross-fade, and video scrubs under the wheel. Nothing plays on a timer the visitor can't control.

Video and photography lead

Your real food, product, rooms, or property carries the page. We shoot, source, or generate what's missing, and we never let a stock photo do the talking.

One story, one page

A motion site reads like a short film: an opening, a few chapters, and a close that asks for the booking, the order, or the tour.

Fast on a phone, still

Built to stay smooth on a mid-range phone, with a reduced-motion version for people who turn animation off, and a page Google can read.

The builds

Four motion sites, live now.

A restaurant opening, a hot sauce brand, a designer's portfolio, and a single-listing home tour. Tap “Full tour” to scroll the whole site.

Seafood restaurant & bar

Crabby Ben's Seafood & Bar

Palatka, FL · Client site

A Cajun seafood boil house, oyster bar, and full bar opening October 3 at 909 SR 19 N in Palatka. We built the pre-launch site that runs their live countdown, their hiring, and their opening-day list, with scroll-driven story sections and video instead of a static menu photo.

Hot sauce brand

Bless Your Heat

St. Augustine, FL · Client site

A datil pepper sauce brand bottled in St. Augustine: four sauces from 15,000 to 300,000 Scoville, sweet first. We built a one-scroll brand site where each sauce gets its own chapter and the label artwork sets the type and ornament, so the site feels like the bottle in your hand.

Interior designer portfolio

Natalie Mayes Design

Nashville, TN · Demo build, shown with permission

A portfolio for a Nashville residential interior designer who came to interiors through construction. We built it as a paper-and-drafting-sheet portfolio: her real spec drawings paired with the rooms they became, smooth scrolling, and quiet reveals that keep the photography in charge.

Real estate listing site

209 Ivy Hill

Hendersonville, NC · Demo build, shown with permission

A cinematic single-listing site for a three-bedroom home on 2.49 wooded acres with seasonal Blue Ridge views. The story of the house unfolds as you scroll: a preloader, a hero that scales away, big serif words that resolve into focus, photos that pan and cross-fade, and a closing private-tour panel.

How it works

Story first. Then the build.

01

Storyboard

We write the scroll before we build it: what the visitor sees at the top, what each chapter says, and where the ask lands. You approve the story on paper.

02

Assets

We gather your photography and video, plan what needs shooting, and produce what's missing so every chapter has something real to show.

03

Build and tune

We build the motion, then spend real time on a phone making it smooth, quick to load, and readable with animation turned off.

04

Launch

Live on your domain, with the search basics in place, and a recorded scroll-through you can post the same day.

Motion site questions.

What does a motion site cost?

Motion sites are quoted per project once we've written the storyboard, because the scope depends on how many chapters the story needs and how much video and photography we're producing. The $1,500 Signature build is the floor. You get a fixed quote before anything is built.

Will all that motion slow the site down or hurt SEO?

Not when it's built properly. The page is real HTML that Google can read, the heavy media is loaded only when it's needed, and the animation runs on the graphics processor rather than fighting the page. Visitors who turn animation off get a clean, still version of the same content.

Do I need professional video?

No. Good photography goes a long way, and scroll-driven motion can bring stills to life. Where a chapter really needs movement we can shoot it, source it, or generate it. We tell you what's worth producing in the storyboard, before you spend anything on it.

Can my current website become a motion site?

Usually the homepage can, and the rest of the site can stay as it is. A common shape is a motion homepage that tells the story, with your existing service or menu pages behind it. We'll look at what you have and say which route makes sense.

How is this different from the free demo?

The free demo is for service business sites: we build a real homepage in 48–72 hours and you only pay if you love it. A motion site takes more than a weekend, so the first step is a storyboard and a quote, then a short build you follow along with.
